Phil Gates at the Blues Music Awards
Phil got the opportunity to perform at the Blind Raccoon/Earwig Music Showcase the Friday of the BMA's as well as go to the BMA event itself. The Blues Music Awards are in Memphis TN every year to celebrate the leaders of the Blues community. Too many legends of Blues were there to name. The showcase was a great opportunity for Phil to present material form the new CD "Addicted To The Blues" to a crowded house of Blues fans, and industry folks at the Rum Boogie Cafe on Beale Street. Fun was had by all. First a few shots from the Jam night with NIck Moss, then the showcase.
